Melwel Lodge has been a vacation home to generations of families from across Canada and the United States for over 60 years. The resort property has over 3000' of waterfront on 30 acres of forest land. It is simple, clean and pure. The lodge is located on Big Basswood Lake, which is renown for its superior water quality.ACCOMMODATIONS AND RATES
Our cabins are individually located to take full advantage of this unique site. Each offer privacy and offer full views of pristine Melwel Bay.
Each of the cozy 1, 2 ,3 & 4 bedroom cabins include high quality beds, luxurious pillows and towels, and are fully equipped with kitchen/kitchenettes and propane BBQ’s. We have Hudson Bay blankets on hand for those cool, breezy nights
MEALS
Meal plans at the main lodge are available only on a prearranged basis.
Please call the lodge directly for further information.
There are also excellent local restaurants in Iron Bridge, Blind River and Thessalon
RATES

High Season Bookings, July and August.
Prior to May 31, Cabins 3-11 are only available for full week bookings.
After June 1, we will accept 3-4 night bookings for these cabins
Cabin 1 and 2 can be booked in advance for any length of time.
Melwel Lodge is open seasonally from May 1 through to the end of October.
